Our Milk

Our pride is in making the creamiest, scrumptious organic lolly’s, to ensure we give you the highest quality product we go that extra mile…

With milk the core ingredient of our handcrafted gelato lollies, it's important to us that we use only ethical milk that is locally sourced and produced with both the animals' welfare and the quality of the milk in mind. After extensive research, we decided to work with a Dairy Farm in Leicestershire, who produce fantastic quality A2 milk with traceability and good animal welfare practices.

The Farm focuses more on producing truly ethical milk. Their animals are reared free range and their cows rear their own calves, with no hormones or antibiotics used in the process. Their cows are fed natural grass or silage (grown on their own farm with natural fertilisers), and homegrown sugar beet. Not only are grass-fed cows healthier and happier but their milk is nutritionally superior to conventional milk. The more grass in a cow’s diet, the more flavour and creaminess you’ll be able to taste in the milk and we promise you this flavour can truly be tasted in its most original form in our Milk gelato lolly.

These fantastic farming practices mean that these cows produce organic milk of incredible quality and flavour - and they're the perfect breed of cows for our creamy, luxurious gelato too. We're passionate about creating the very best gelato lollies that we can: and for us, that means not focusing on flavour alone, but ensuring that we're contributing to the local economy, and supporting local dairy farmers who truly care for their animals.

Once in store, the milk is fully pasteurised safely killing all the harmful bacteria and then aged for 6 hours to get the optimum flavour. We then whizz up our flavours and combine them with the freshly pasteurised milk base.
